Kambaba Jasper Mala Beads (108 yoga beads)
Each mala is hand knotted with care, featuring 108 beads (crystals or stones) and a matching tassel. I source rustic, natural beads in a variety of styles and designs so every mala feels personal and unique.
I’ve also been a yoga teacher for 12 years, and I bring the same sense of mindfulness and presence from my teaching into how I create these mala beads.
Stone meaning
Kambaba Jasper, often called the stone of peace and tranquility, is believed to soothe the mind and nervous system while grounding the spirit. Its swirling green and black patterns symbolise harmony, balance, and a deep connection to nature. Many turn to this stone for emotional stability, calmness, and renewal.
How I use my mala
I set an intention, mantra, or breath count (108). Holding the mala in my right hand over the middle finger, I use my thumb to move one bead per breath or mantra, starting next to the guru bead. When I reach the guru bead again, I pause and reverse direction rather than crossing over.
How it is worn
This mala is not adjustable and does not have a clasp. It is typically worn as a long necklace resting over the chest, with the guru bead and tassel near the heart. It can also be wrapped around the wrists several times.
