The Essence Of Teaching Yoga

Create seamless, intentional classes that integrate yogic philosophy naturally. This is where you move beyond knowing the poses and turn class plans into experiences your students FEEL.

DSCF3994_edited.jpg

You’ve been teaching for a while, and you know how to put a class together – but something is missing.

You have a few sequences in your back pocket, and they “work” – however, when it’s time to design a new one, your mind goes blank.

You want to grow as a teacher, but you also want to put your own essence and magic into your classes…

And you know it’s time for mentorship.

Inside The Essence of Yoga Teaching

We use sequencing as the entry point…

but really, this is where you become the teacher who creates experiences, not just classes.

Because the most impactful teachers aren't simply delivering poses.

They're creating conditions for presence, inquiry, connection, and transformation — drawing not only from movement, but from the deeper wisdom of the yogic tradition itself.

Through the lens of sequencing, you'll learn how to weave asana, philosophy, energetics, and intention into a cohesive experience that students can truly feel.

This mentorship is where you learn to teach from understanding rather than memorization.

To create classes that are purposeful, responsive, and rooted in the wisdom of yoga itself.

So that what you teach isn't simply a sequence of poses...

it's an authentic expression of the practice.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Sequence with intelligence

Build classes that prepare the body in a way that feels logical, supportive, and easeful. No clunky transitions. No forcing.

  • Create seamless progressions

So your students feel guided — not pushed — into more challenging shapes.

  • Teach beyond the poses

Learn how to weave in theme and philosophy so your students don’t just move… they experience something.

  • Simplify your class planning

Work from a clear, reusable structure that gives you direction without boxing you in.  So you can plan faster — and teach with

      more presence.

  • Use one sequence, many ways

Understand how a single structure can hold multiple themes — just by shifting your cues and intention.

  • Feel confident sharing philosophy

Drop in meaningful, grounded teachings in a way that feels natural — not forced or performative.

  • Become more employable

Understand what studios are actually looking for — and teach with clarity and confidence.

If you feel like:

-You’re wondering if your classes actually flow… or just get from A to B.
-Your class planning takes forever

-Your classes aren’t inspiring you like they used to

-You don’t know how to integrate Yogic philosophy into classes

-Your cueing bores you (and you’re not sure it’s landing)

-You’re spending too long trying to piece things together

-You’re second-guessing your sequences

The Essence of Yoga Teaching is for you.
You might know a lot about yoga.

But bringing it all together into a class that feels seamless, intentional, and embodied?
That’s where you struggle – and where you’re ready to grow.

This isn’t about learning more poses.

Or creating fancy, complicated sequences.

It’s about learning how to teach in a way that:

  • Makes sense in the body

  • Feels natural to guide

  •  And actually lands for your students

This is not about being perfect.

It’s about refining how you teach —

so it feels simpler, clearer, and more like you.

With my mentoring you'll feel something shifts with your teaching.

You'll no longer try to teach like everyone else and teach what you think you should do.
You'll uncover your own way of teaching. A teaching style that feels natural to you.
Grounded in your voice, your energy, your understanding of yoga, and the way you guide people through an experience.

And that’s when you feel that your ability to lead a class is undeniable. You are meant to be in front of these students, allowing space for them to have an experience, there is no doubt.

Your classes become recognisable.
Your students don’t just attend when it’s convenient — they move things around to be there.

Because your classes don’t feel generic or going through the motions.
They feel like you and they feel your intention behind it.

This work isn’t about becoming the “best” teacher in the room.
It’s about becoming a teacher whose classes carry something people can’t quite find anywhere else.
